DexArm couldn't connect to my computer

1) Make sure you are using the USB A to C cable to connect DexArm with your computer.

The Dual USB-C cable won't work. If your computer doesn't have a USB-A port, go get a USB Hub.

2) Make sure DexArm is physically connected to your computer.

💻Windows Users

A. Open Device Manager and you should see an STMxxx COM port which is for DexArm.

If it doesn't show as an STM port, please DOWNLOAD arrow-up-rightand install the STM virtual serial driver.

  • Install W7 if your system is Windows 7.

  • Install W8 if your system is Windows 8 or 10.

B. Open Rotrics Studio to connect DexArm.

If couldn't find the port in Rotrics Studio, check the port 1 at the back of DexArm and see if there is a LED blinking or not. If you can see the blinking LED, pleas follow the instruction arrow-up-rightto update DexArm's firmware with a third-party software.

💻Mac Users

A. Go to About This Mac > System Report > USB and you should see an STMxx device.

B. Open Rotrics Studio to connect DexArm.

If couldn't find the port in Rotrics Studio, check the port 1 at the back of DexArm and see if there is a LED blinking or not. If you can see the blinking LED, pleas follow the instruction to update DexArm's firmware with a 3rd party software.
